LETTER FROM
THE COMMITTEE

Greetings from the 2025 Martin Luther King Jr Scholarship Fund

We are excited to partner with our community for the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Fund Prayer Breakfast and recipient workshops. In our 31st year of service, we are excited to chair a cause that is so important in our community. What pride we have in a new chapter of growth for the Prayer Breakfast that acts as a catalyst for success for our next generation.

Our goal is to support our scholars by being a partner in their success. We as an organization are Community servants at Heart! The Muskingum County Community Foundation provides many grants and scholarships that benefit area youth, and we are so thankful for our continued partnership that powers the community engagement each year.

The Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce continues to be a champion for us as we strive to provide programming opportunities to local students and young adults to get prepared for careers through developmental workshops and exposing local job opportunities. Our organization acts as a community enrichment catalyst to introduce young adults to businesses that are always seeking to find great fits for the opportunities in the current marketplace.

Magic Johnson said, “All kids need is a little help, a little hope and somebody who believes in them.” Our organization believes that we must support our future generations of the community by providing them the ability to dream and become and we could not do that without the community’s support and the partnership of these other wonderful organizations.

On behalf of the entire MLK Jr. Scholarship Fund board and advisory committee, we look forward to continuing serving our community with compassion and commitment.

Best regards,
